Flap Happy was founded by designer, Laurie Lipson Snyder, a Malibu, California native and mother of 4. Laurie started the business with an idea for a hat that would protect her children’s faces and necks from the sun after not being able to find a functional sun protective hat in the marketplace. Flap Happy is now more than just hats, offering UPF 50+ sustainable swimwear, rash guards, hats, cover-ups & dresses, most made from RECYCLED PLASTIC BOTTLES! We also offer Custom & Private Label!
